Here it is, the second print issue of Karaoke Addiction Magazine. You’ll
notice on the opposite page that we’ve added a new little feature that we
may have in every issue-- The List. It will include some sort of list of
songs. This month’s issue includes songs by artists that are harder to
remember. Next month’s issue might be about long songs that you may
want to avoid singing. There are many lists of karaoke songs that could
be used for “The List”. If you have any ideas, please email KAM:
kam@karaokeaddiction.com. The List is something new that KAM is
excited to bring to you the readers.
Moving from something that is beginning to something that is over-- the
2007 KAM Awards voting. The voting was open from November to
December. The results and story about the winners of each category will
be announced in next month’s issue. It is important to note that the
voting was open to any person or business across the country. A lot of
votes came in mostly from outside of Indiana, despite the fact that the
print edition is only available there. This was a possibility that KAM
came to expect. However, the website karaokeaddiction.com is targeted
to the karaoke community across the country, thus we were happy to
include everyone. Find out who won the Karaoke Singer of The Year,
KJ of The Year, Karaoke Place of The Year and Karaoke Website of the
year in next month’s issue.
Back to something new again, you will notice there is a small section
starting here of KAM Classifieds. These are classified ads that you can
place whether you are buying or selling something related to karaoke. It
could be you are selling your home system and CD’s, you could adver-
tise your private party services or you could just be looking for a singer
for your band. To place one of these classified ads or a regular display
ad anywhere in this magazine, please call 812-936-3522 or fax 1-866-
512-1412 or email kam@karaokeaddiction.com.
That’s lots of new things here and to come in the future. Thank you for
picking up this month’s issue. Until next time, take care.
