I guess I should fill you in on this new magazine and what it's all about since this is the first From the Editor. I've just begun this Karaoke Addiction Magazine and I'm excited that it will provide an entertaining read and cool website content. I think it will fill a need that's currently not met for all you karaoke lovers out there-- and I should know because I'm one of them.

The basic idea behind KAM (as I'll often call Karaoke Addiction Magazine) is how does someone know where to find new karaoke venues? It hasn't been easy, and we want to make it easier. We're also going to have articles and commentary about how to sing better, what contests are happening and all kinds of karaoke industry related news. Don't forget, if you know about karaoke venues, contests and news that we might not-- tell us. We'd love to hear from you so we can be sure to keep all our readers informed.

When I first started working to get KAM off the ground, I went to a karaoke night at a local bar to check out the scene. I took pictures and told people about my plan. There was just an incredible amount of positive energy that people had and were encouraging me to pursue this magazine. Thanks to all of them for the support.

Take a look around the website and let me know what you think. Don't hesitate to send me your comments, questions, and especially your karaoke photos and stories. I'd love to see them and may use them for future publication.

Lastly, I just have to say that this magazine is a true passion for me. I love karaoke so much and have had so many awesome experiences singing karaoke whether it was at home, with friends, or in public. If I can bring joy like that to other people with this magazine, then my mission has been fulfilled.
